  Difference distribution: ATWD NPE - FADC NPE Blue: DOMs with FADC based NPE is larger than ATWD based NPE Red: DOMs with FADC based NPE is larger than ATWD based NPE More than a half of the DOMs, with reduced number of readout bin, it is still true that FADC has larger NPE but for very high amplitude waveforms (above FADC saturation level), ATWD is very important, as for EHE.
